About Kayla
Kayla (Mueller) Meyers is a seasoned program evaluator with over a decade of experience in assessing and improving programs for nonprofits and public organizations. She specializes in evaluation capacity building and mixed-methods program evaluation, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her clients.
Kayla earned her Master of International Development Practice (MDP) from the University of Minnesota, Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Her professional journey includes senior level consulting at an evaluation and strategic planning firm in St. Paul, Minnesota, and building internal evaluative infrastructure at a global nonprofit specializing in pediatric cardiac capacity strengthening across various cities worldwide.
Currently, Kayla is an adjunct professor, instructing graduate courses on Program Evaluation and Survey Design at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, which is ranked among the top ten public affairs schools in the country. In addition to her teaching role, she has published numerous articles and presented at key industry conferences, including the American Evaluation Association and Nonprofit Technology Conferences.
An active member of the American Evaluation Association, Kayla also serves on the leadership board of the Independent Consultant Topical Interest Group.
In her spare time, Kayla enjoys mentoring emerging evaluators and contributing to community initiatives. She loves discovering new parks for (novice) hiking and exploring the excellent restaurants Minneapolis has to offer. Chayney is to Bridgepoint what Bridgepoint is for nonprofits - she turns chaos into clarity, creates approachable and advanced solutions, and does so collaboratively.
Kelly Opot
Collaborating consultant with community impact solutions
Kelly Opot, based in Houston, TX, brings expertise in community engagement and facilitation design. She and the team at CIS are dedicated to supporting mission-driven organizations unlock capital, build capacity, and scale sustainable solutions to their biggest challenges. Kelly has diverse experience spanning the public, non-profit, and philanthropic sectors with a special focus on connecting systems and building community and person-centered solutions to complex social challenges.
Ben Christensen
Collaborating Consultant
Ben Christensen is a research professional with over five years of experience in all aspects of program evaluation, from planning and designing studies to reporting actionable and accessible findings. As a research analyst with Mathematica, Ben contributed to evaluations of federal and private grant programs in the areas of reentry, employment, education, and early childhood. Ben holds a Masters in Public Policy from George Mason University and enjoys music, cooking, hiking, and spending time with his partner and two dogs.
Kylie Nicholas
Collaborating Consultant with KA Nicholas Consulting
Kylie Nicholas is the Founder and Principal Consultant of KA Nicholas Consulting. Kylie is a skilled project manager with extensive experience facilitating evaluation and design processes. For over 10 years, she has been drawing on her complementary backgrounds in program evaluation and the arts to develop creative strategies for gathering insights to help nonprofits, foundations, and government agencies understand and refine programs.
